George Osborne was the Chancellor of the Exchequer (Until 2016), First Secretary of State (Until 2016) and Second Lord of the Treasury (Until 2016). He is a member of the Conservative Party and was an MP for Tatton from 2001 - 2017.

Early Life Edit

George Gideon Oliver Osborne was on May 23, 1971 in Paddington. He was educated in London and studied Modern History at Oxford.

Political Career Edit

When he entered Parliament, he was the youngest Conservative MP in the House Of Commons. He had many Shadow Minister positions before becoming Shadow Chancellor in 2005.

He ran David Cameron's campaign to become Leader of the Conservative Party in 2005 and helped in the negations of a coalition in 2010. In 2010, he was appointed Shadow Chancellor and was the youngest chancellor since Randolph Churchill.

In 2015, he was reappointed as Chancellor and became First Secretary of State.

After Theresa May became Prime Minister she fired him from the government. Osborne stood down as an MP at the 2017 general election.

Personal Life Edit

Osborne is married to Frances Victoria Howell and they have two children.
