Nick Clegg is a British politician who was the deputy prime minister from 2010 - 2015 and the leader of the Liberal Democrats from 2007 - 2015. He was the MP for Sheffield Hallam from 2005, before losing his seat in the 2017 General Election.

Coalition GovernmentEdit

The 2010 general election resulted in a hung parliament. Under Clegg, the liberal democrats went into coalition with the Conservative Party.

2015 General ElectionEdit

In the 2015 general election, the Lib Dems lost all but 8 of their seats in parliament. Because of this Clegg resigned and was replaced by Tim Farron.
